Nyaradzai Lynette Tasaranarwo FIA

Nyaradzai Lynette Tasaranarwo is the General Manager of First Mutual Health Company, bringing over 16 years of experience in the actuarial, general insurance, and healthcare industries. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Actuarial Science from the National University of Science and Technology and a Master’s degree in Applied Actuarial Science from the University of Kent. She is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business.​ Nyaradzai qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) through the Health and Care practice area, demonstrating her specialized expertise in healthcare actuarial science. She also holds the Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) designation, reflecting her proficiency in enterprise risk management.​ Throughout her career, Nyaradzai has held pivotal roles, including Deputy Director of Actuarial, Research, and Data Services at the National Social Security Authority of Zimbabwe (NSSA), Strategy and Research Manager at Premier Service Medical Aid Society, and Business Analyst at NicozDiamond. She has also served as Secretary General of the Actuarial Society of Zimbabwe, contributing significantly to the advancement of the actuarial profession in the country.​ In her current role at First Mutual Health Company, Nyaradzai leverages her extensive expertise to drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional healthcare solutions to clients. Her commitment to excellence and innovation continues to strengthen the company’s position as a leading health company.
